Midland Links Projects

Our first midland links project, R9, was carried out in 1990 and since then we have been a vital part of numerous contracts on the area 9 partnering scheme. During 2010 we worked on three projects simultaneously, R157, R161 and College Road and managed to deal successfully with the heavy workload and fast changing nature of these contracts. At present we are working on the R153 which is a relatively small job and are due to commence work on the much larger R165 in the coming months.

The Midland Links projects are always demanding but also extremely rewarding. The programme of works can change daily meaning flexibility is a must, and the removal of the concrete is hard work for even the most talented operatives. It is our experience of completing these projects that has formed the ethos of the company, which is that we will always try to help our clients in any way we can, and has also enhanced the ability of our workforce who are now ready to tackle any type of removal.

Remote Tank Cleaning

At Sabre Jetting we are able to clean many tanks without the need for the operators to enter the vessel due to the use of remote cleaning heads. This not only provides massive safety advantages, but also removes the requirement to scaffold the vessels and for the use of additional operators, thus saving time and money.

The remote heads have adjustable electro-magnetic brakes. These prevent the jet from over speeding to enable the water jet time to cut through the product. If the tank has a high quality finish the jet will the force its way behind the product, considerably decreasing the cleaning time required. Tank Cleaning

Another class of storage tanks include underground tank systems. These need to be cleaned, but access to the tanks is limited in many cases. There are an unlimited number of ways to clean these tanks. When ordering this kind of tank cleaning you need to consider many factors, such as the tank's location and whether drinking reservoirs are nearby. The type of contaminant in the tank also must also be considered. Dangerous elements like phosphorous, acids, hazardous materials, oil and other contaminants need extensive cleanup plans. These plans must be coordinated with local authorities in some cases, and must adhere to any local or state laws.
