Our Midland links projects
Our first Midlands Links project was carried out in 1990, This was the R9 project, which was very demanding but rewarding. Since then, we have been a vital part of several contracts on the area 9 partnering scheme. For example during 2010 we worked on three projects concurrently: R157, R161 and College Road. Projects at Sabre Jetting
Here
at Sabre Jetting we provide tank cleaning, surface preparation, hydrodemolition and a variety of other services. We have a vast amount of
experience and have built a renowned reputation for offering customers professional
solutions at highly competitive prices. We also have a range of projects
including M27 Junction 9, A1260 Bridge Structures, and the Midland Links
Projects.
Sabre
Jetting Services Ltd recently accomplished hydro-demolition work on the M27
Junction 9 Pier Replacement project. Originally this project involved repairing
isolated areas of the piers by removing impaired areas with hydro-demolition.
However it was later studied that it would be more cost effective to eliminate
the entire east and west piers by hydro-demolition and rebuild them in stages.

Tank cleaning
Sabre Jetting are able to save time and
money from being able to clean many tanks by the use of remote cleaning heads
ensuring that there is no need for the operators to enter the vessel. The
remote cleaning head prevent the jet form over speeding to enable the water jet
time to cut through the product. When the remote cleaning head is not an
option, Sabre Jetting Services are able to clean the tank using a hand lance
with a vessel entry. For further information about our tank cleaning services
and systems please call us on 0121
706 9801 or visit us online at http://www.sabrejetting.co.uk/

Surface preparation
Based on the scale of the job, we employ a wide variety of pressures,
flows and nozzle designs for surface
preparation to remove almost any product. For cleaning bridges, floors and
factories and removing all loose concrete and carbon build up we often tend to
use the twin jet rotary nozzle with a pressure of 450 BAR. Whilst for a more
aggressive slab of concrete we would use a single nozzle at 1100 BAR. Find
out more about our surface preparation service by visiting our website.

Hydro Demolition
The use of hydro-demolition is becoming
more widespread amongst the construction industry and especially within the
civil engineering sector. The main reasons for this is because it doesn't cause
any damage to surrounding steel reinforcing and It allows for the removal of
concrete in dense areas. We are able to undertake a variety of hydrodem
projects that include bearing removal, parapet demolition and more. Visit us
online to find out more - http://www.sabrejetting.co.uk/index.php?webpage=hydro-demolition

Surface Preparation
The best nozzle for any surface
cleaning is the Stoneage 1200 BAR twin nozzle rotary jet. It has a far
more aggressive cut than the Munro nozzle due to its slower speed. It removes concrete
surfaces extremely
well and it also has far better coverage of the surface than a Munro or any
traditional fan type nozzle.

Surface preparation
Our
surface
preparation involves using a wide variety of pressures, flows and
nozzle designs to remove a huge variety of products. We’ve found
that this process is very effective for businesses in which cleaning
bridges, floors and factories and removing all loose concrete and
carbon build up is required. It is very easy to use and cost
effective as up to three of these nozzles can be used simultaneously,
which will also reduce the time taken.
Our range
of nozzles use varying pressures, meaning we can tackle any surface
preparation job regardless of the deposit which needs removing. One
particular surface preparation job which we carried out was on the
B.T.
Tower in Birmingham,
in the West Midlands, where we found that only an aggressive clean
was required. To find out more about surface preparation and the
other
services
we provide, please visit our website.
