Hydro Demolition To Be Carried Out By Sabre Jetting

Sabre Jetting Services Ltd are pleased to announce that we have been successful in our bid to carry out the major hydro-demolition works on the M5 Tewkesbury Road project which is set to start in November this year. The works consist of 40m³ of concrete removal to the abutments of the bridge running underneath the M5.

The hydro-demolition will be carried out in phases to ensure the structural strength of the bridge remains. Sabre will remove a section of the abutment which will then be poured back and allowed to reach strength before the next phase of hydro-demolition is required.

As part of the package, Sabre Jetting Services Ltd will be providing water using our tanker based hydro-demolition units and have also worked with the Environment Agency to create a solution, involving the use of one of our Siltbuster FB50 units, for discharging the run off water to nearby ground.

This project will serve as an excellent example of how Sabre Jetting Services Ltd are able to lighten the work load of our clients and meet the needs of a modern working site by providing a complete water jetting package.
